De Colores,
In 1979 I made my Cursillo while a communicant in the Episcopal Church. I was very active and served on the Episcopal Secretariat in NO CA. Though I still live in No CA I am now a member of a LCMS Lutheran church. No one that I have talked to at my church including my pastor seems to have heard or know of or about Cursillo. This evening in the latest issue of the CNH (California, Nevada, Hawaii) District Lutheran Church newsletter, In Touch, I read an article which mentioned Lutheran Cursillo of Southern CA. This aroused my curiosity so I searched the Internet to see if I could find information about Cursillo in relationship to the LCMS and their position on this. Though I found this site which uses the LCMS Logo, and read through the FAQ's, I was disappointed that I could not find any reference to LCMS's position on Cursillo. Would you please help me with this by telling me where I might ask or look to find this information. Thank you and God's blessings Karen McNeal

I've been in the San Diego Cursillo Movement, served on the Secretariat. Recently moved to Murrieta. Is there an active English Speaking Movement in this area? We are 60 miles north of San Diego, but the Lay Director (Jim Koed) is only 30 miles from us, therefore the San Diego Movement would actually be the easiest one to become affiliated with, but of course it is in the Diocese of San Diego, and Murrieta is just north of that, but nevertheless in the Diocese of San Bernardino.
Can you give me some guidance?

HELP, I just started a new job as a Youth Director in Seattle on Mercer Island. I have some teens who would like to experience a TEC weekend. There is some TEC here but I am not sure it is sanctioned by the TEC Conference. I can't find anything about it. I was wondering if there were TEC here. I experienced my own TEC weekend in O'Fallon IL in 1990. Any help would be great.
Thanks so much.
Sittin' in the Palm of GOD,
Heather

I am a "Cursillista" from Florida, now living in Ireland. I saw the question about Cursillo and "secret society" and note the date is March, 2002.
How can I find out about Cursillo in Ireland? I am a member of the Church of Ireland, so I do not expect to find it here in that expression, however, I have not been able to locate anything on the internet about Catholic Cursillo in Ireland, until I saw this person's post. Unfortunately, I am in the southeast, not in Donegal. I do know there was or is activity near the Dundalk, Co Louth area. Whether they are still active, I do not know.
Can you help??
Many thanks,
Vicki Embry

I am trying to find a web site or a few contact names of Cursillo leaders in PEI, NS and NB.  I made my Cursillo weekend a few years ago. My husband is now ready and looking forward to making his, however the one in PEI past us by in March. We are wanting to know if there is one available this spring in either NS or NB.
Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide

DeColores Serge,
Terriffic site!!!   I commend you and your group with creating such a wonderful site.  It is very thorough.  I knew that most of the major Christian denominations had a movement similar to Cursillo, but I never knew they had so many.  I always wanted to create a site linking them all together, but I could have never done such a good job as you all did.  Congratulations.
We will of course place a link to your site on our web page.  It will get top ranking (probably second to "National")
Yours in Christ,

Bonjour!
I have been to your site.  I found some very useful information there.  From where I live in America, I think that building God's Kingdom worldwide looks like an almost impossible task.  But with God, through prayer, everything is possible!
Thank you for your monumental effort in constructing the Worldwide Directoy.  It is an AWESOME ministry for Christ!  I am sure the Cursillistas here in St. Louis will visit it soon.  I have added it to our weekly prayer mailing (knee mail)
We will pray for God's abundant blessings on your ministry.

Dear Mr Simon,
I'm not sure if I'm writing to the right person to ask the following question to but I hope you can help me.
It is with regards to a Cursillo group in Ard Mhuire, Donegal in Ireland. [I'm writing from Ireland]. Recently a friend of mine went to a meeting and returned saying he had been told that he could not tell me about anything what had happened at the meeting. That it was secret.  I checked a Cursillo site on the web and they state that the Cursillo groups are not a secret group and that all information can be shared.  I was wondering which is the truth? Is the Cursillo a secret society?? If so Why? What is there to hide?
If you can help me I'd be very grateful,
Ms. Aine Power

Dear Serge,
Thanks a lot for these news!  It seems to me that you compiled a detailed and thorough report of everything about Cursillo-activities in the Internet, and of course further information about Cursillo.
I am missing our fish - don'k know if it is maybe an exclusive German logo, but it pleases me and I didn't see it.  Do you know anything about it?  Or didn't I open the right page of your site?
best wishes from Petra.  De Colores!

De Colores Serge!
I have updated the info about your site on my links page.  Your site is looking very nice these days!  You've done a great job on the translations.  A few things have changed here in the Western region... our site address is just a little bit shorter (not much!) https://www.catholic-forum.com/wccc/  We now have an active Cursillo community in Winnipeg, MB. ...so things are coming along.
In the Vancouver Archdiocese we also have a very active Vietnamese Cursillo comunity who are separate from our Group.  They are expanding into Calgary, AB sometime in the near future.  The Diocese of Kamloops, which has been inactive for several years, now has a small group that is trying to revive the Cursillo movement within their diocese as well.  So, things are on the move out here!
God Bless,
Jennifer :-)

I participated in T.E.C as adult in the early 1990's in Cleveland, Ohio. I found your website, https://www.cursillos.ca/en/ecrivez-nous.htm, and thought you might be able to refer me to anyone who can help us with a new project. I am a graduated of the University of Notre Dame and am presently helping to assemble communications network of Alumni who share our loves.
Are you the TEC national headquarters?
I know that TEC is primaily for teens but I also know adults are in leadership positions. I'd like to find a way to contact ND graduates in the TEC community. From what I remember, TEC people would have something to offer current students at Notre Dame.
I'm particular trying to determine if there is an ND graduate whose been in a leadership position with TEC, on a larger scale, and would want to be on our core group of Alumni, to take a more active part in our project.

OUR PURPOSE

We are starting an organized e-mail communications network between like-minded alumni of Notre Dame and select students. By like-minded, we mean that we love being Catholic, love the Blessed Mother, look to the Catechism of the Catholic Church to learn what Christ revealed, are pro-life, love the Pope, love the Eucharist and the other Sacraments, including confession. Our sole purpose is to help students propagate on Notre Dame's campus the Catholic truths we share and love (and secondarily help any faculty or staff when possible.) We'd simply like to be informed of students' progress and problems in their efforts in these regards. We will help like-minded students with prayers, moral support, networking introductions, financing*, etc., because alumni have access to resources, knowledge and experience, that students don't yet have.
We plan on issuing a quarterly e-mail newsletter compiled by a core group of recent alumni, including information on current student activities, such as if they invited a guest speaker to campus, sponsored a retreat or a prayer vigil, or organized an educational project. Our e-mail newsletter may also include specific information on like-minded students or alumni's challenges or problems in these regards especially if we believe we can help each other propagate Catholic truths at Notre Dame.
Any suggestions would be appreciated,    Thanks
